| Trapped Log Floating in Dyke Creek, Wellsville, New York | ||
This log, about 4-5 feet long, had apparently come floating with the current, and passed over the barrier regulating the flow of Dyke Creek. Once it made the fall, however, it was trapped by back currents preventing it from traveling further downstream. I saw it move several yards away from the foaming boundary - but then get sucked back upstream, unable to escape. |
